GREEN MAN
Using live music, narration and cinematic shadow puppetry, we present a dark fantasy about a man who is cursed to live as a tree for a thousand years.
Mochinosha created this new play in collaboration with Japanese musician Tama Shinya who narrates, plays guitar and voices nine characters in the show. It premiered recently in Tokyo and Kagawa where it was well received by audiences.
MIMI The Gourmet Cat
Short shadow puppet show aimed at 3 years old +.
The story of a cat named Mimi, who loves food. One day her owner leaves home without feeding her. Mimi, hungry and impatient, escapes from the house, disguises herself as a human and gets on a plane to explore the world of food!
Puppet Show for Young Children
Our repertory includes shows for young Children from kindergarten to elementary school kids as well as their families.
All of the shows are about 20 - 30 minute long. Program are customizable by choosing several shows and/or our short shadow workshop. We bring shows to preschool, kindergarten, elementary school and community center with our own gear. For more details, please contact us.
