Shadow Carnival
A world of light and shadow created with a vintage overhead projectors.
A non-verbal play for all ages set to Saint-Saëns' "The Carnival of the Animals" with an original arrangement by Ghost Twin. Inspired by retro animation, this original story is performed using two overhead projectors and nostalgic, cartoon-like illustrations.
It was performed at Expo 2025 Osaka in the "Electricity Pavilion."
Story
In the forest there is a joyful carnival where animals gather to have a good time. However the lions, who have organized the event, are acting a bit suspicious.
